Sub Agent – Tunnelling & RC Shafts
Location: Southampton
Duration: 12 months
Rate: £380 – £420 per day (Outside IR35)
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Southampton, focusing on tunnelling and reinforced concrete (RC) shafts.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations on tunnelling and RC shaft works
*
Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, and design teams
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
*
Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
*
Strong background in civil engineering, particularly tunnelling and RC structures
*
Proven experience working as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on similar projects
*
Valid CSCS and SMSTS/SSSTS
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills
*
Ability to work under minimal supervision
