English Teacher – Permanent Position – Christchurch Secondary School (September Start)

A well-regarded secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a committed and creative English Teacher to join their thriving English department on a permanent basis from September 2025. The position will involve teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and departmental needs.

Role Highlights:

Deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across mixed-ability classes

Teach both English Literature and English Language following the AQA GCSE specification

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant English or humanities-based degree

Effective classroom management and the ability to maintain a purposeful learning environment

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
