ITS Building People is recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor specialising in commercial refurbishment projects within the education sector. We are seeking a hands-on Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee and actively participate in high-quality refurbishment works across schools in the Woking area.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake hands-on carpentry and general refurbishment tasks
Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations within school environments
Liaise with school representatives, site managers, and subcontractors
Carry out quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within carpentry and refurbishment
Strong background in internal and external refurbishment, particularly within schools
Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team
Valid CSCS card and SSSTS certification (essential)
Enhanced DBS check (desirable due to working in schools) What’s in it for you?
