Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful trade counter business who are looking to recruit a Branch Assistant to join their team to help with the demand of the market.

Our client, is an award-winning retailer and specialist supplier of quality low maintenance building products for interior and exterior applications to the trade and DIY sectors. The right candidate for this position will have current or recent experience working within a trade counter in a similar position.

Working hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and two Saturday Mornings per month paid in overtime.

The role:

* To make sure each order is correctly labelled and paperwork is complete

* Enusre vans are packed securely in a manner that protects all stock

* Keeping the warehouse and trade counter clean/tidy – put away all stock, empty bins and surfaces are kept clean

* Answering calls – dealing with new and existing customer enquiries

* Management of Trade counter including efficiency and presentation

* Cash and float management

* Promote new products effectively

* Ensure sales targets are met

* Manage stock

* Training will be provided where needed

The candidate:

* Have current/recent experience working within a similar role on a trade counter

* Experience with cash and float management

* Experience with stock management

* Have excellent organisational and customer service skills

* Be a team player and be able to work independently

* Good numerical skills
