Production Engineer-(NPI)

Salary: £40K-£45K

Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Production Engineer to join their team and work mainly on the introduction of new products into the business and using your experience within PCBA manufacturing. This is a

role that requires 50% on the shop floor and the other is desk based looking at all the theoretical side including drawings/diagrams and data analysis.

Production Engineer Responsibilities:

Support introduction of new products (NPI) into the business
Interpret a wide variety of customer provided data, determine build process, and provide supporting documentation for manufacturing 
Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner 
Diagnose problems in production, offer technical solutions and provide recommendations and training
Collate data for departmental and business KPIs
Liaising with other internal departments and engineers to develop plans that improve production, reduce costs and increase efficiencies  

Desirable Experience:

Minimum of 5 years working in a PCBA manufacturing environment
A formal qualification in an engineering discipline- electronics or equivalent
Demonstrate ability to technically support customers and production with manufacturing queries
