We’re currently seeking a Band 7 Sonographer to join a busy NHS team in South Wales. This long-term locum role offers an excellent hourly rate of £65 and the chance to support a department tackling a substantial patient waiting list.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a range of general, obstetric, gynaecological, and ideally neck ultrasound scans.

*

Work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and high-quality patient care.

*

Accurately report findings and contribute to clinical decision-making.

*

Support the department in managing a significant imaging backlog.

*

Essential Requirements:

*

HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent recognised registration).

*

Proficient in general and obs/gynae ultrasound scanning.

*

DQASS-accredited for obstetric ultrasound.

*

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

*

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

*

Desirable:

*

Competency in neck ultrasound scanning.
