You’ll be supported by an experienced SENCo and benefit from regular training focused on behaviour support, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed practices.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil exhibiting challenging behaviours.

• Implement individual behaviour plans and de-escalation techniques.

• Use restorative approaches and positive reinforcement strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

• Create a calm, safe learning environment tailored to individual needs.

• Record and report behavioural incidents and progress.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural difficulties.

• Knowledge of behaviour management frameworks (e.g., Team Teach).

• Strong emotional resilience, empathy, and a proactive mindset.

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).

• Legal right to work in the UK.
