Job Description - Project Manager (Water/Infrastructure - Telecoms)

Location: Livingston, Scotland
Contract: 6 months+ (Outside IR35)
Sector: Water / Utilities / Telecoms Infrastructure

The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver critical civils and infrastructure works within the water and telecoms sector. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle - from planning through to delivery - ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of civils and utilities projects within water/telecoms infrastructure.

Manage project planning, resourcing, risk, and reporting.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure milestones are met.

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance against KPIs.

Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and quality standards.

Provide clear leadership and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager in utilities, water, telecoms, or civil engineering.

Strong background in project delivery and stakeholder management.

Commercially aware with contract management knowledge (NEC experience advantageous).

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

PM qualifications (APM, PRINCE2) desirable but not essential
