Description
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.
Prepare financial reports and analysis to assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.
Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
Review and process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the healthcare industry.
Part-qualified or working towards an accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
