Area to be covered: South of Birmingham

Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 + £10,000 Commission

The role of the Regional Sales Manager – Plumbing and Heating will involve:

* Field sales position selling a distributed range of 5,000+ plumbing, heating and building products as well as project solutions for underfloor heating, ventilation, renewables and air source heat pumps

* Responsible for an area achieving growth despite not previously having had a dedicated field sales resource

* Responsible for circa 200 customers initially, 75% plumbing and heating merchants 25% builders merchants

* Initial ledger responsibility for circa £3m

* Tasked with doubling turnover and merchant customers over the next 4-5 years in line with company growth plans

* 50% of your time on boarding new merchant customers, 50% maximizing growth within the existing customer base

* Taking advantage of national trading agreements within Fortis, H&B, IPG, IBC etc.

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager – Plumbing and Heating with:

* Must have proven field sales experience selling into plumbing and heating merchants or builders merchants

* General plumbing and heating product knowledge

* Hungry go-getter attitude

* Ambitious and driven

* Specific knowledge of ventilation, renewables and air source heat pumps is not essential as a team of technical experts will be supporting this position

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office and CRM system)
