Job Role: Site Fitter

Location: Central London

Salary: Starting at £33,280 and goes up depending on experience (£40-£45k with the overtime)

Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours

Site Work: Central London (travel/accommodation covered + £120 per week)

AJ&U Recruitment is proud to represent a client based in the Greater Manchester area who specialises in designing and crafting high-quality interior joinery and bespoke furniture for commercial environments for clients in Central London.

We’re seeking an experienced site fitter.

As part of a skilled team, you’ll contribute to the creation of custom furniture tailored to client design briefs and handle the precise installation of joinery components. You will work with a diverse range of materials, including natural wood, laminates, steel, aluminium, veneer, and solid surface materials.

* Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked over 40/week

* Hours: 08:00–16:30, 40 hours per week

* Supportive Team: Work with experienced operations and design staff (e.g. Ops Manager, technical team)

Job Duties:

* Carry out site fitting duties as required (CSCS card needed).

* Work with various materials, including: Veneer, Laminate, Solid surface

* Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.

* Maintain quality and precision across both bench and site-based tasks.

* Must have a cscs card

* Must have experience fitting commercial offices/bespoke joiner

* Able to read technical drawing in order to install the joinery

* Have your own basic hand held tools.

* Other tools provided

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a site fitter.

* Ability to read and understand technical/working drawings.

* Skilled in working with materials such as veneer, laminate, and preferably solid surface.

* Willingness to travel for site installations (Central London).

* CSCS card required for site work.

* Must have experience fitting commercial offices/bespoke joiner

* Able to read technical drawing in order to install the joinery

* Have your own basic hand held tools.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
