I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm for a Paralegal / Team Assistant to join their Private Client team in Cambridge.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with experience in Private Client work who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities:

Support the team with a range of client matters

Manage your own caseload of client work

Meet and greet clients and handle telephone enquiries

Take new enquiries from prospective clients

Manage financial and administrative aspects of client matters

Keep fee-earners updated on task progress

Manage diaries and inboxes

Coordinate electronic documents with external parties

Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation

Participate in networking and business development initiatives

Candidate requirements:

Experience:

Previous experience in a Private Client department

Good understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Personal qualities:

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Proactive, self-motivated and personable

Able to remain calm under pressure
