A long-established regional law firm with multiple local offices is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join its Malmesbury office. This is a key role responsible for safeguarding the firm by identifying, assessing, and managing legal, regulatory, and operational risks, while ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the firm's risk and compliance framework
* Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, AML requirements, and internal policies
* Act as a key point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters
* Manage and develop AML, data protection, complaints, and risk management procedures
* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews
* Provide guidance and training to partners and staff on compliance obligations
* Support senior management with regulatory reporting and risk strategy

Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a risk and/or compliance role within a law firm or professional services environment
* Strong working knowledge of SRA regulations and AML frameworks
* Ability to work independently and advise at senior level
* Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Qualifications (beneficial but not essential):
* Solicitor (England & Wales)
* ICA Certification
* CAMS
* IRM qualification or equivalent
