We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-regulated children’s home based in Aigburth, Liverpool, and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered every day.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
*
Provide inspiring leadership to your team, fostering a child-centred, open, and supportive environment
*
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring child protection and risk management
*
Drive compliance and lead Ofsted inspections with a focus on achieving Good or Outstanding
*
Oversee recruitment, supervision, and development of support and senior care staff
*
Manage budgets and resources to ensure the home is safe, well-equipped, and welcoming
*
Build positive multi-agency relationships with social workers, health professionals, and local authorities
*
Promote the voice of the child in care planning and day-to-day decisions
Essential Requirements:
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting (within the last 5 years)
*
At least 1 year of experience in a management or deputy role within a children’s home
*
Strong working knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding, and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
*
Proven ability to lead and motivate staff
*
Excellent communication, decision-making, and crisis management skills
*
Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
Desirable:
*
Experience running a Good or Outstanding Ofsted-rated home
*
Knowledge of therapeutic care approaches (e.g. PACE, attachment theory)
*
Experience setting up a new children’s home and leading it through registration
