A well-established manufacturing company in the Derby area are looking for a CAD Draughtsman to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background within mechanical engineering and design.

The role will involve:
• Managing the design and detailing of various mechanical components
• Design projects and assembly drawings
• Producing 3D models and production drawings
• Working alongside the design engineers to meet customer requirements
• Designing jigs, fixtures, tooling and testing equipment.

We are looking for someone with the below experience:
• A qualification in mechanical engineering
• Experience producing engineering drawings
• Machine shop knowledge

• Previous experience working within this role or similar within a manufacturing or engineering business.
