CNC Milling Machinist

* Nottingham (with occasional cover at Hinckley)

* Permanent, Full-Time | Mon–Thurs 7.30am–4.30pm, Fri 7.30am–12.30pm

* Salary: From £18.00 per hour + overtime

* Company pension (8% combined contribution).

* 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays.

The Role

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will:

* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances.

* Create, edit, and prove out CNC programs referencing detailed drawings.

* Manufacture precision components (one-offs and small batches).

* Carry out self-inspection to ensure quality standards.

* Work independently or as part of a team in a busy machine shop.

Requirements

* Proven CNC Setter/Operator experience.

* Ability to program CNC milling machines from detail drawings.

* Mazatrol experience (essential); 5 Axis experience (preferred).

* Skilled in CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement tools.

* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

* Flexibility to cover both Nottingham and Hinckley sites when required.

* Access to transport.
