Branch Manager – Electrical Wholesale
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 +Bonus
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

An established and growing electrical wholesale company is looking for a driven and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead its Birmingham branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical wholesale who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. Previous management experience is not essential — if you understand the trade, can build relationships, and have the ambition to lead a team, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:
As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, driving sales, and supporting a small but capable team. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent service to customers, managing stock and orders, and helping the branch grow its presence in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling key customer accounts and providing expert product advice
Leading by example across sales, customer service, and operational tasks
Supporting and motivating team members to meet branch targets
Managing stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
Monitoring branch performance and working with senior management on growth strategies
Maintaining a high standard of health and safety and operational complianceRequirements:

Solid experience in the electrical wholesale industry (trade counter, internal sales, or external sales roles)
A strong understanding of electrical products and customer needs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
