In this Monday to Friday, days-based role, you will work with small groups of learners, teaching core mechatronics principles with a strong focus on PLC programming and automation systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on industry experience-whether as a maintenance engineer, controls engineer, or instrumentation engineer-and will be confident working with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).

The Role:
*Full training provided
*Working with small groups of learners
*Teaching and mentoring individuals in PLC programming and mechatronics systems
*Developing and preparing schemes of work and lesson plans
*Planning, preparing, and conducting assessments of competence against awarding body standards
*Ensuring all relevant paperwork relating to training, assessments, and company business is completed on time and accurately
The Person:
*Comes from a maintenance, controls, or instrumentation engineering background
*Confident and experienced in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
*Interested in transitioning into a trainer/instructor role
*Time-served, ideally with a relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
