Our client, a well-established firm within the food import and distribution industry, based in the Cheltenham area, has an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Warehouse Operative to join their team on an ad-hoc, ongoing basis due to increased demand.

The successful Warehouse Operative should have:

The ability to carry out physically demanding work, including lifting items between 10kg–25kg
A reliable, flexible approach to working on an “as and when required” basis
Strong attention to detail when labelling and organising stock
A willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Appropriate PPE including steel toe-capped boots and suitable workwear
In this role, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

Handballing stock from lorries and containers
Placing stock into boxes accurately and efficiently
Ensuring all boxes are correctly labelled
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Supporting general warehouse operations as required
