Techniche Global are supporting a leading company who specialise in Technology Engineering solutions in the Oil & Gas and Energy Sectors. Supporting them with appointing an experienced Senior Engineer for a role in their Metering / Sampling solutions area.
  
This role is part of their Measurement Systems area and will focus on overseeing engineering for the specification, design, fabrication and testing of Liquid or Gas Metering or Sampling systems. The role is full technical management of assignment projects.
  
For this role, they can consider Mechanically bias Engineers who have experience with similar type engineering packaged solutions. Ideally from the Oil & Gas Sector, but they will also consider from transferrable industry sectors such as Water, Process etc.
  
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage technical aspects of assigned projects, from initiation to completion.
Develop cost-effective designs that meet agreed specifications and standards.
Prepare technical requisitions and procurement packages for fabrication, instrumentation, and assembly.
Oversee system testing, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring compliance.
Provide direction to Mechanical and Electrical designers to generate project documentation.
Support project management, inspections, and technical compliance with their Quality team.
Collaborate with vendors and clients for system approvals and testing, acting as primary technical contact with customer.
Offer technical expertise to the sales team for proposals and cost control.
Mentor and support junior engineering team members. Knowledge or experience of Metering, Sampling or Measurement engineering technologies is not essential. But would be preferred. The overall engineering systems that this role is responsible for are custom fabricated Skids that contain pipework, sensors, valves, measurement devices etc.
  
This role can be based at 1 of 3 offices; Tunbridge Wells, Malton in Yorkshire, or Aberdeen. There is hybrid and work from home flexibility depending on experience, for those with high levels of industry and relatable engineering experience this could be more remote/hybrid. But there would always be an element of office presence.
  
The salary is starting from £55-65k, but there is flexibility to consider higher expectations based on industry and engineering knowledge which is directly relatable to the role.
