Salary: £36,729 (£19ph) + overtime at 1.5x
Hours: Days, with early Friday finish

Hands-on deburring role on precision aerospace components

Syntech Recruitment is working with a well-established UK aerospace and defence manufacturer, renowned for producing high-precision components used in critical, life-saving aviation systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed bench work, deburring and finishing of precision components within a low-volume, high-quality manufacturing environment, and who is comfortable working with manual machinery.

Carry out deburring, bench work and component finishing
Remove sharp edges, burrs and imperfections from precision machined components
Use hand tools and manual techniques to achieve high-quality finishes
Operate manual machinery including broachers, surface grinders, manual mills and lathes
Read and work from engineering drawings
Carry out self-inspection using micrometres, verniers and gauges
Work to tight tolerances and strict aerospace quality standards
Support general toolroom and production activities where requiredDeburrer Profile

Essential experience:

Previous experience in a deburring, bench fitting or finishing role
Hands-on experience using manual machinery such as broachers, grinders, mills and lathes
Background within precision engineering, aerospace or defence manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Comfortable working to tight tolerances
