What You’ll Do as Lead Teacher of Food Technology (FT)

Lead and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students.
Develop a dynamic curriculum that blends creativity, nutrition, and practical skills.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring kitchen classroom environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Mentor and support other staff within the department.
Stay up to date with food trends, health guidelines, and educational best practices.
Organise food-related events, competitions, and enrichment activities.
What You Bring as a Lead Teacher of Food Technology (FT)

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
Proven experience teaching Food Technology at school level.
Strong leadership skills and a passion for curriculum development.
Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
A commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainability.
Enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting colleagues and students alike.
