Registered Manager – Transform a Home with Huge Potential
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus Scheme | Vitality Health Insurance | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Location: Whalley Range – 4-Bed EBD Children’s Home (currently 2 young people in placement)
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to lead real transformation. We’re recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to take charge of a home that’s been on a journey. From an inadequate Ofsted rating, this service has now reached ‘Good’ — and we’re looking for a strong leader to continue that progress and build a truly outstanding home.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of a 4-bed EBD home. With a stable team already in place, your role is to:
Lead and support a Deputy Manager, 2 Team Leaders, 7 TSPs, and a Waking Night Worker
Drive continuous improvement in care quality, compliance, and team performance
Manage rotas, budgets, supervisions, and development planning
Champion therapeutic, child-centred practice
Tackle legacy challenges with clarity and confidence
What Makes This Exciting:
The home has turned a corner – from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’
You’ll be empowered to lead change – not just maintain the status quo
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9–5 with on-call (1 in every 4–5 weeks)
Highly competitive salary – up to £65,000 depending on experience
Bonus scheme – based on home performance and KPIs
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (bookable in advance)
