A modern and forward-thinking property and construction consultancy are looking for a Project Manager / Employer’s Agent to join their central south major works team. Established over 30 years ago, they work for a broad range of clients across the private and public sectors, providing a full suite of property and construction consultancy solutions.

Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager / Employer’s Agent:
* Projects are primarily (but by no means exclusively) façade remedial works with project values between £1m to £20m. Employers range from national developers and government departments to freeholders.
* Manage a number of live projects at differing stages and identify and plan for new work as required.
* Technical design reviews.
* Procurement of construction works.
* Production of technical documents.
* Preparing and reporting against project programmes
* Client relationship management
Skills & Experience of the Project Manager / Employer’s Agent:
* Understanding of JCT Contracts and the administration of such contracts (Contract Administration, Employers Agent) and the administration of change.
* Building pathology, construction terminology
* A basic understanding of warranties/bonds etc and when these should be utilised.
* Understanding of CDM2015 Regulations.
* Leadership, communication, and organisation.
* Willingness to succeed and to take ownership.
* Commercial awareness.
* Good written communicator (reports, letters etc.).
* Flexible and open minded.
* Good listening skills.
Salary & Benefits:
* £50K - £65K
