Registered Manager – Nursing Home
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (DOE)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly driven and personable Registered Manager to lead a medium-sized nursing home based in Preston. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader seeking autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of effective leadership within the care sector, demonstrating confidence in managing change and delivering results. Experience in turnaround environments and leading services through digital transformation (transitioning from paper to paperless systems) will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dynamic and effective leadership to a well-established team
Maintain and drive high standards of clinical care and compliance
Oversee the smooth running of the home with a focus on resident wellbeing and staff engagement
Lead on initiatives to improve service delivery, occupancy, and quality ratings
Ensure regulatory standards and policies are upheld at all timesThe Successful Candidate Will Have:
A current NMC registration (preferred but not essential)
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing home setting
A confident, approachable and motivated leadership style
The ability to work autonomously and make proactive decisions
A long-term vision with a commitment to service improvement and staff development
