Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Plus Additional Weeks
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of an Ofsted Rated 'Good' secondary school in Ellesmere Port. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join the site team from September 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and site improvements

Ensuring the security of the school site, including opening/locking up as required

Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards across the school

Assisting with deliveries, setting up rooms, and supporting school events

Liaising with contractors and reporting any major repairs

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a caretaking, site management, or maintenance role (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

Strong practical and DIY skills

Good understanding of health and safety procedures

A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach to work
