Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Nights (No Weekends!)

Salary: £55,000 Basic + 5% Bonus + Overtime Available
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 10-hour Nights (That’s a 3-day weekend, every week!)

The Role

We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who’s passionate about problem-solving and keeping production running smoothly. You’ll take pride in delivering first-class maintenance support, tackling mechanical and electrical challenges head-on, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across high-speed production machinery — including conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems.
Diagnose and repair faults to keep downtime to a minimum.
Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Build great relationships with external suppliers and contractors to keep everything running like clockwork.

 What You’ll Need:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
Proven experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and/or electrical).
A proactive mindset and strong teamwork skills.
