This highly regarded SEN school are seeking a compassionate Assistant Head Teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive education and SEND provision to join their senior leadership team from September 2026.

This is such an amazing opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about ensuring every child, regardless of their background or need, is supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

This role is working closely with the Head Teacher to:

Play a key role in strategic school improvements and leadership decision making
Contribute to behaviour and safeguarding support, attendance and student wellbeing
Work collaboratively with families and any external professionals
Use assessment and data intelligently to improve outcomes for vulnerable learners
Support staff to deliver inclusive and adaptive teaching across the curriculum
Ensure high quality provision for students with SEND and additional needs
Lead whole school inclusion and SEND strategy

Is an excellent example in the leading the classroom with strong SEND expertise
Has leadership experience in inclusion, SEND or pastoral support
