VNA Education is working with an Outstanding secondary school with an exceptional sixth form in Tower Hamlets to appoint a high-calibre Key Stage 5 Mathematics Teacher on an ongoing basis.

This is a superb opportunity for a Maths specialist with a passion for advanced subject teaching, academic rigour and post-16 outcomes, within a school known for excellent results, behaviour and student aspiration.

The Role

* Deliver high-quality A-Level Mathematics (and potentially Further Maths)

* Teach motivated, high-attaining students in a strong academic sixth form

* Contribute to a well-sequenced, knowledge-rich KS5 curriculum

* Use assessment and data to drive excellent progress and outcomes

* Work collaboratively within a high-performing Maths department

* Support university preparation and progression for post-16 students

The Person

* Qualified Mathematics teacher (QTS)

* Strong experience teaching A-Level Maths (Further Maths desirable)

* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematical thinking

* High expectations of students and consistently strong classroom practice

* Professional, reflective and committed to continuous improvement

* Clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive excellence
