The Estimator will be responsible for:

Preparing detailed and competitive pricing for tenders and budget estimates.
Collaborating with Bid Managers, Planners, Procurement, and Technical Services to ensure accurate and cost-effective solutions.
Advising on design options and pricing alternative solutions.
Coordinating supplier and subcontractor quotations and comparisons.
Supporting early contractor involvement projects with pricing expertise.
Ensuring governance procedures and risk assessments are followed throughout the bid process.
The Estimator will have:

Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction techniques.
Experience with estimating software and commercial awareness of various contract forms.
Understanding of procurement legislation and internal governance procedures.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple teams.
A background in sectors such as nuclear, construction, or defence would be highly desirable.
