Salary: £45,000 - £47,500 per annum

An "Ofsted Outstanding" rated independent fostering agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team across the South of England. This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Social Work professional to enjoy a 100% remote working model, managing a stable and dispersed team while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee a dedicated team of five Social Workers across London, Bristol, Dorset, and Cornwall. While the role is primarily home-based, it offers the prestige of working for a nationally recognised provider known for its commitment to placement stability and excellence in foster carer support.

Job Summary

Leading a team of five Social Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality support and supervision to foster carers.
Maintaining the agency's 'Outstanding' status by ensuring all practice adheres to National Minimum Standards and Fostering Service Regulations.
Operating a fully remote service, with very occasional travel (estimated 2-3 times every six months) to Bristol or Birmingham for Ofsted inspections, annual meetings, or awards.
Primarily a management role, though the post-holder may temporarily hold a small caseload in exceptional circumstances (e.g., during recruitment gaps or sickness).
Taking a lead role in investigating any allegations or attending support groups as required (noting a historically low rate of allegations within this region).

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing high-quality supervision, mentoring, and annual appraisals for the Social Work team.
Overseeing the support and retention of foster carers across the South region.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of children in placements through rigorous monitoring of outcomes.

Contributing to the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
