Techniche Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading medical packaging manufacturer based in Milnthorpe, South Cumbria, currently expanding during an exciting period of growth.

Location: Milnthorpe, South Cumbria
Salary: depending on experience
Monday to Friday, Full-Time, Permanent Role

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to join a dynamic production environment in a hands-on, varied role.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and implement modifications to machines and systems to simplify processes and reduce downtime.
Work on creative engineering solutions for new challenges as they arise.
Collaborate with operations and management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Take an active role in designing, testing, and implementing new systems, prototypes, and process enhancements. What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong interest in manufacturing or production environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to work on real-world technical challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Desirable:

Some industrial experience through a placement, internship, or junior role.
Familiarity with automation, control systems, or mechanical/electrical machinery.
Experience using CAD or engineering design tools
