Teaching Assistant – Newark
Full Time 

TeacherActive is very proud to be working with schools across Newark to find highly skilled Teaching Assistants/ TAs who can make a lasting impact.

We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA who is caring, patient and committed to making a real difference in young people’s lives. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with pupils and staff to support learning, encourage development and help every child reach their full potential..

A successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• A calm, patient and caring personality
• Good communication skills
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• 6 months+ experience working with children or young people in education
• Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND is highly desirable
• A genuine passion for education and supporting learners with diverse needs
• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification — Level 2 or Level 3
• A full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
