Health & Safety Manager - Glamorgan - c£70,000 – depending on experience

Overview: This is a great opportunity to work for a large food manufacturer. They have been going through a lot of growth and change on site and it’s a really exciting time to join them.

About You:

* As Health & Safety Manager, you will be working in manufacturing, and this will ideally be food or FMCG.

* Experience of managing complex manufacturing processes.

* NEBOSH diploma qualified and a proven track record of delivery in H&S

* Ability to build & influence H&S Culture across diverse teams in all departments.

What will you be doing?

* The Health and Safety Manager will support a proactive safety culture across all departments on site

* Manage investigations of incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviours using root cause analysis.

* Maintain accident and incident records in line with RIDDOR and internal standards.

* Work closely with production, technical, hygiene, engineering, HR, and quality assurance teams to integrate H&S into daily operations.

* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on safety during equipment upgrades and installations.
