Area Sales Manager - Yorkshire & North East
Location: Sheffield Office (50% office-based, 50% field visits)
Salary: £45k + £(Apply online only) monthly bonus + Company Car

If so, we have an exclusive opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in the industry as an Area Sales Manager, covering Yorkshire and the North East. Our client, a well-established company renowned for its high-quality products, is looking for someone like you to take charge of their already extensive customer base and drive continued growth.
What you'll be doing:
Account Management: You'll inherit a large, loyal database of customers, allowing you to hit the ground running. Your focus will be to nurture these existing relationships while identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
Business Development: The key to this role is growing accounts. Your expertise in negotiation and relationship building will allow you to leverage opportunities to expand product offerings and increase customer spend.
Sales Strategy: A mix of office work and field visits will see you collaborating with both your internal team in Sheffield and your customers across the region. You'll spend around 50% of your time in the office, with the rest of the time spent on the road, engaging with clients and prospects.
Reporting & Feedback: Use your keen market insight to report on competitor activity, customer needs, and any emerging market trends to help shape the company's sales strategy moving forward.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a similar sales role, ideally in the components or manufacturing sectors.
A background in account management, with an emphasis on growing accounts, managing relationships, and driving profitability.
Negotiation skills that allow you to secure long-term deals and optimise margins.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain lasting relationships with clients at all levels.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a hybrid role (office and field-based) with a willingness to travel across your designated region.
