The Position – Year 1 Teacher

Qualiteach have a new opportunity available for a KS1 Teacher who would be interested in a 1 year fixed contract teaching Year 1. The role is on offer due to maternity cover and the position could lead to a permanent role next year depending on staffing and how the Year 1 Teacher has found the role. To be considered for this position you must have your Qualified Teacher Status, experience teaching in Year 1 and an understanding of the KS1 curriculum. The school have made it clear that attributes they would like the Year 1 Teacher to have is strong classroom management skills, leadership skills to manage and work alongside the 2 Teaching Assistants within the class and planning and delivering engaging lessons.

The school is a three form entry Primary school based in Ealing which has a Nursery of 52 children. The school has been rated as “Good” by Ofsted in the latest inspection which was in 2023.
