As such are looking to add a Business Development Manager to cover the Reading and Watford areas.

The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager, who can win new business in a service led, consultative sales environment.
This is a new business hunter role and your primary responsibility will be to achieve the company’s revenue target for new business in line with the company’s strategy for customer size, type and service mix. Cold Calling and “door knocking” is an essential part of this role to attract and develop new business.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility
* Identifying and developing a ‘personal prospect funnel’ sufficient in size to fund new business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan
* Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur
* Successfully handover all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade
* Identifying and pursuing regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis
* To champion the “partnership process” wherever possible with any new prospects
* Achieving productivity targets. This will include 12 brand new prospect visits each week
* Achieving all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company
What We Are Looking For
The Business Development Manager will be a tenacious & driven individual, who is financial motivated and keen to grow a career in a leading business.
Due to the nature of our business the ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment would be preferred.
Alongside this you will need to have;
* Experience in a outbound sales role (open on sector / industry)
* High levels of integrity and empathy
* Ability to manage own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
* Be able to adapt own style to suit the needs of internal and external customers
* Effective problem resolution and objection handling skills
* Have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and resilient approach
* A great team player who can build internal relationships
