Job Summary
We are recruiting an experienced MIG Welder for a client based in Halesfield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and assemble metal components with precision. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all welding tasks.
Duties
* Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds.
* Fabricate metal components according to specifications and technical drawings.
* Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools.
* Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience in MIG welding; additional experience in stick welding is advantageous.
* Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in working with sheet metal.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Monday - Friday, early finishes on Fridays.
