We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mazak CNC Machinist to join a well-established aerospace engineering company based in Farnborough. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong prospects for extension-the current contractor has been on site for nearly two years.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of Mazak CNC machines, producing high-precision components for the aerospace sector.

Initial shift pattern: Day shift - 7:30am to 4:00pm (1:00pm finish on Fridays)

Future shift pattern: Alternating double shifts

Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Opportunity to receive training on Sliding Head machines

The Company:

You'll be working for a leading manufacturer of aerospace sensor systems, producing components used in landing gear, lighting, temperature sensing, and other critical aircraft systems. The site is modern, well-organised, and known for long-term contractor retention.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience with Mazak CNC machines

Strong background in programming, setting, and operating

Ability to work to tight aerospace tolerances

Good understanding of engineering drawings and inspection equipment

Right to Work in the UK required (no sponsorship available)
