Job Title: LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter
Salary: £17.13-£21.11

Shift: Dayshift 40hrs / week Monday – Friday 06:30 – 15:00 weekly rotation to 10:00 – 18:30 (half day Saturday AM optional).
Type: Permanent
Location: Blackburn

We are looking for a LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter to join our client one of the UK’s leading manufacturers.

LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:

* You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.

* You'll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.

* You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).

* You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.

* You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

* Time-served LGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.

* Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.

* Valid Driving License
