We’re seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement/Project Manager to support the development of a great engineering department in the Malton area and lead key improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering the capital investment programme, driving efficiencies, and reducing plant downtime.

The Role

Manage and deliver engineering projects to budget and time-scales.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across plant, processes, and machinery.
Liaise with production, operations, engineering and technical teams to improve performance and efficiency.
Ensure all compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Support the training and development of the engineering team.About You

Strong engineering background, with a recognised qualification and the ability to be hands on and desk based.
Experience in managing engineering projects and continuous improvement programmes.
Knowledge of plant, machinery, and maintenance systems.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage teams.
Self-motivated, flexible, and committed to high standards of safety and performance.
