We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our experienced and dynamic team at our fabrication workshop near Melton Mowbray. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality handcrafted components and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures from drawings.

*

Cut, bend, and shape metal using hand and power tools.

*

Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, saws, rollers, press brakes, punches, and drills.

*

Fabricate bespoke steelwork independently to a high standard of quality.

*

Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues using mechanical knowledge.

*

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

*

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Skills & Experience

*

Experience in welding and fabrication.

*

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

*

Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

*

Ability to work independently or as part of a team
