Synapri are working with a fantastic MSP on an IT Network Engineering Position.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer to join their technical team. They are looking for people with extensive prior experience with Network Engineering at around the 1st/2nd line level

This is a hybrid role requiring 1–2 days per week in the office after probation.

Our clients are based in Hertfordshire and service clients across London and the South-East. This role will operate on a hybrid basis, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office after the probationary period.

You’ll be working with experienced engineers and receiving fully funded training to accelerate your development and attain certificates. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad mix of technologies, from networking and cloud infrastructure to endpoint and user support.

The Person:

* ~3 years’ experience in a technical support or network engineer role

* Good troubleshooting ability and logical thinking

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* A genuine interest in technology and learning new skills

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

This role will involve using the technologies listed below. At this level of role, our clients are not expecting people to be experts with all the below, but have a good fundamental understanding and experience with most of them.

* Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint)

* Azure and cloud environments (VMs, cost management, backups)

* Networking fundamentals (VLANs, DNS, WAN/LAN, Firewalls)

* Switches and routers

* Endpoint and device management (Intune, Compliance Policies)

* Both Windows and Linux systems

* VoIP or telephony systems
