We are seeking a passionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Family Support & Safeguarding team in Barking and Dagenham. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and families, working within a supportive and innovative environment.
About the role:
As a Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding team, you will:

Provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and families in need.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop effective care plans that promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies to provide holistic support.
Champion the voice of the child and advocate for their best interests.
Ensure your practice meets statutory requirements and reflects best practice in safeguarding and family support.About you:

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
Ability to build trusting relationships with children, young people, and families.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
