     Job Title: Kit Cutter / Technician – Composites
Location: Coventry (Bayton Road, Exhall)
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Working Pattern:
  * 
    Until 31st December 2025: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday 6:00am – 11:00am
  * 
    From 1st January 2026: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm (Friday off – 4-day working week)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Kit Cutter / Technician to join a respected composites manufacturer based in Coventry.
This position is ideal for someone who is organised, practical, and eager to build a career within the composites or manufacturing industry. Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  * 
    Cut and prepare composite material kits according to templates, patterns, and work instructions
  * 
    Support the production of tooling and components for automotive, aerospace, and motorsport customers
  * 
    Handle and store materials safely and maintain accurate stock levels
  * 
    Assist in laminating and lay-up activities when required (training provided)
  * 
    Maintain work areas in line with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
  * 
    Work closely with production staff to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery
About You
  * 
    Some previous experience in manufacturing, composites, or engineering is an advantage
  * 
    Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
  * 
    Logical, reliable, and able to follow work instructions accurately
  * 
    Strong organisational skills and willingness to learn new processes
  * 
    Able to work independently or as part of a small, supportive team
  * 
    Committed to maintaining quality and safety at all times
