CEN Resources are working in partnership a very successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to growth and project awards, our client is now looking to hire a Process Engineer. Our client operates within various process industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities

* Process Engineers are responsible for supporting senior process engineers in all aspects of Process Design to deliver engineering solutions at Concept, FEED and detailed design project phases.

* Production of technical and engineering reports.

* Production of Process Engineering Drawings (PFDs, P&IDs)

* Production of Process calculations (such as thermal loading/heat transfer/pump calcs) .

* Preform site visits to complete site surveys, site meetings and other site related activities

* Undertake process investigations and troubleshooting

* Prepare process specifications and deliverables, mainly as listed below:

1. Process Design basis

2. Line list

3. Equipment list

4. Process data sheets for equipment

5. Instrument data sheet

6. Control philosophy

7. Cause & effect sheets

Qualifications & Experience

* Degree qualified

* Familiarity with process design in a process plants environment

* Excellent written and oral skills

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
