Group Process Safety Manager - Chemicals Manufacturing - Cheshire based, with international travel - £80k - £110k + bonus

A global high-hazard manufacturer is seeking a Group Process Safety Manager to lead the development and deployment of best-in-class process safety systems across international operations. This is a key strategic role focused on critical risk management, performance improvement, and regulatory excellence.

The role will be UK based and drive implementations and improvements for sites across the UK, Europe, US, and Brazil, with travel to these regions required, around 1 week per month on average.

Key Responsibilities

Drive global standards for process safety and operational SHE performance.

Advise on compliance with international safety legislation and best practice (e.g. COMAH, OSHA, Seveso).

*

Train and support site teams in identifying and managing critical hazards.

*

Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

*

Engage with regulatory bodies, SHE networks, and industry partners.

Candidate Profile

*

Degree-qualified in a technical discipline (Chemical Engineering preferred).

*

8+ years in high-hazard environments, with deep process safety expertise.

*

Strong working knowledge of UK Process Safety regulations (knowledge of international regulations is beneficial).

*

Effective communicator across all business levels.

*

Environmental experience beneficial; fluent English essential.
