Warehouse Team Leader

Earls Colne, Essex

Monday to Saturday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week)

Salary: Competitive, £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Driving licence and own transport essential due to site location

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of our client, a well-established and fast-growing organisation based in Earls Colne. Warehouse Team Leader Job Role:

* Supervise and support warehouse operatives to ensure efficient order fulfilment

* Ensure all orders are processed in a timely and compliant manner

* Act as the first point of contact for team members, escalating issues to senior management when needed

* Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards at all times

* Monitor and report on employee performance and progress against targets

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse

* Accurately pick and pack customer orders

* Oversee container loading and unloading

* Operate a forklift truck (where applicable) to move and store palletised stock

* Placing pallets into racking

* Replenishing stock locations

* Loading/unloading containers

Warehouse Team Leader Skills Required:

* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

* Proven leadership experience in a similar supervisory role

* Strong communication and team coordination skills

* Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

* Valid Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)

* Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to site location)
