JOB TITLE: Estimator
LOCATION: Basingstoke
Role: Permanent / Temp to perm
REPORTING TO: Contracts Manager
Salary: 45k to 50k
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*City & Guilds in Electrical Installation / NVQ Level 3
*Three- or four-years' experience in Electrical Estimating

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Design of projects to be submitted at tender/pre-tender stage.
*Liaison with client on post tender submissions
*Development of business and building on client relationships

MAIN TASKS:
*Preparation of tender/pre-tender documentation for submission to client
*Interpret client scope and design project to specification.
*Attend post-tender meetings, negotiate realistic adjustments to submission.
*Negotiate agreement of contract award
*Maintain regular client contact to build on long term relationships.
*Continue to remain involved with the project at handover to operations.
*Strive to improve the quality of service provided to the Company's customers by identifying and proposing developments and amendments to systems used.
*Take responsibility for own personal health and safety and impact on the environment.
