A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies across multiple projects. This role provides exposure to simulation and modelling of advanced systems, algorithm development, and the chance to support field trials within a collaborative engineering environment.

This role performs the duties of systems modelling, simulation and algorithm development, and reports to a senior systems lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop algorithms and models for use in advanced sensor and seeker technologies
• Contribute to full system simulations including RF propagation and embedded software response
• Analyse performance data and support technical decision-making through detailed reporting
• Support field trials and laboratory-based testing as part of wider systems validation
• Engage across multiple programmes, providing input from assessment phases through to delivery

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in modelling, simulation, or algorithm development
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MATLAB or similar tools
• A STEM degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in data analysis and technical report writing
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
• A willingness to learn and adapt within a multidisciplinary team
